J.P. and Marian meet Martha Stewart in New York City
Hello Everyone, J.P. was asked to be on the Martha Stewart Show. We went there for Jan. 22nd and 23rd. As some of you already know they came out to our farm to film broom making with J.P. for two days in Dec. On Wed.Jan.23rd we were at the studio in the audience and our segment from the farm was shown and then J.P. talked about some of the brooms with Martha. The program was taped and will be on national TV tomorrow, Friday Jan. 25th. For the time of the show in your area, go to marthastewart.com and be sure to check us out.
We were treated like royalty by all the staff at the Martha
Stewart Studio. I could not resist sending the picture of J.P. getting his hair
trimmed. I even got a makeover. What fun we had with everyone. Be sure to s
ee
the show! Till next time…….

What gorgeous brooms, and an absolutely fascinating "documentary". Thanks for the wonderful lesson on your art form. A broom and a whisk are on my "wish list"!

I just saw your segment on Martha Stewart. I have to say, I want a life like yours! My husband and I are pregnant with our first baby, but someday, when we can afford it, we want to have a place where we can collect from the earth and craft amazing things-make commonplace items spectacular! I am truly jealous, but I know that'll be us someday! :)
Wish you the best,
Melissa and Alex

I found your story on the tradition of broom making wonderful. I admire your skill and obvious love of the art. I can't wait to place an order.
Congratulations!
Leslie
